Research Interests
The Platform Technology Engineering Laboratory will focus on applied research in Product Design and Advanced Manufacturing. The primary focus is to research and develop novel manufacturing and inspection processes/equipment to solve industrial and applied problems. This includes applying CAD/CAM, numerical methods, automated techniques, and machine building. The laboratory will develop new techniques from concept to laboratory scale with a strong focus on establishing industrial collaborations.
