Research Interests
My research interest lies primarily in understanding the physics and mechanics of nano structures and soft materials and their fascinating applications in biological phenomena and energy harvesting. I use methods of theoretical and computational continuum mechanics, advanced statistical physics and atomistic simulations to explore the mechanics of 2D materials, electromechanical coupling in soft materials, as well as physical mechanisms underlying the interface of 2D materials and biology.
