Dr. Chenxi Yuan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Informatics at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). Dr. Yuan received her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University in 2022. Before joining NJIT, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics at the University of Pennsylvania. Her interdisciplinary research bridges methodological advances in artificial intelligence with real-world biomedical and healthcare applications, with the broader goal of developing AI systems that are reliable, transparent, and trustworthy in high-stakes decision-making settings.
