About Me
Worked in statistical applications to bio-sciences for several decades. Significant improvements of public health (Q.Zhang, M.Safford, J.Ottenweller, G.Hawley, D.Repke, J.F.Burgess, S.K.Dhar et al. 2000). Worked as with the Department of Cell Biology & Molecular Medicine, UMDNJ. Using design of experiment methods, weighted least squares methods and generalized linear models, examples (N.H.Banke, L.Yan, K.M.Pound, S.K.Dharet al. 2012, X.Zhao, D.Ho, P.Abarzúa, S.K.Dhar, et al. 2011, L.Chen, P. Lizano, X. Zhao, X. Sui, S.K. Dhar, et al. 2011) Collaborations with Dr. G.Atlas and others, Department of Anesthesiology at UMDNJ (A.G.Fiol, R.Horvath, C.Schoenberg, N.Ahmed, S.K.Dhar, et al. 2016, G.Atlas, S.K.Dhar, et al. 2014), developing new non-invasive ways to measure patient data using Esophagus Doppler Monitor (G.Atlas, D. Brealey, S.K.Dharet al. 2012). A lung model statistical analysis (G.Atlas, S.K.Dhar, et al. American Society of Anesthesiology, 2007), and finite recursive models that represent anesthesia within the patient’s system (G.Atlas & S.K.Dhar 2010). Bootstrap based test to establish non-inferiority of drugs in clinical trials (M.Chen, F.Kianifard & S.K.Dhar, 2006) was developed. Multivariate frequency count and reliability models (S.K.Dhar: X.Jiang 2000, 1998, 1996, X.Jiang 1995, 1995, and A.P.Basu 1995) are developed. Wider application using linear, log-linear and logit models via new generalized inverse sampling scheme. Other models of dependent groups of components and their life probability distributions (S.K.Dhar: J.Li 2013, S.Balaji, 2006 & 2003). New discrete bivariate models have been developed with applications to reliability (S.K.Dhar: 1998, and A.P.Basu 1995). Robust and efficient minimum distance estimators (S.K.Dhar: J. American Statist. Assoc. 1993, 1992, The Annals of Statist. 1991, Australian Mathematical Society Journal Series A, 1990). Specifically, significant optimization tool (S.K. Dhar, J. American Statist. Assoc. 1993), for the general class of sums of absolute multivariate linear functions, where linear programming methods fail. Research into the existence of minimum distance estimators (S.K.Dhar, D.Chen, 2005). https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/myncbi/sunil.dhar.1/bibliography/public/
