As a Brownfield Redevelopment Specialist at NJIT TAB, Natalie Francesco provides technical assistance and community engagement strategies to Regions 2 and 4. Her technical background is shaped by her boots on the ground training in state-level environmental regulation. While working at NYCDEP and Freehold Soil Conservation District, Nat focused on watershed protection, stormwater permitting, and construction site compliance with environmental laws.

Holding a B.S. from Rutgers University, she is currently balancing her professional role with a Sustainability Masters at her alma matter. Her years of experience in the service industry has allowed her to succeed in high-pressure environments with a practical, person-first mindset; a skill used to bridge the gap between technical requirements and community needs.

As a Hispanic professional, Natalie uses her bilingual communication to make environmental processes accessible to diverse stakeholders, with a special commitment to supporting sustainable redevelopment in Puerto Rico.
