About Me
Senior Lecture in the School of Applied Engineering Technology (SAET) and Coordinator of the Computer Technology and Medical Informatics programs, which I initiated in 2010. In addition I am the coordinator of the minor in Geriatric Engineering, initiated in 2016. I published a text book " Biomedical Informatics" Auerbach Communications (2015) and completing a second textbook " Geriatric Engineering same publisher this year. Competed a dozen journal articles with 24 citations. A regular NSF reviewer. Several NSF grants, largest $3,000,000 as co-pi. Received an NCE teaching award in 2011 and introduced 9 new courses. Currently working to expand the Geriatric Engineering minor into a 4 year program.
