About Me
Dr. Donald H. Sebastian was the founding President and CEO of the New Jersey Innovation Institute and Sr VP of Technology & Business Development at New Jersey Institute of Technology. Founded in 2014, NJII, a 5.01c3 Corporation, is a new model for business innovation serving key industrial clusters: biopharmaceuticals, information technology, defense, and healthcare. NJII programs of nearly $90M produced a $1.3 Billion annual impact on the state economy in 2018.
Dr. Sebastian was a founder of NJ Healthcare Information Technology Extension Center, NJ Homeland Security Technology Systems Center, NJ Nanotechnology Consortium, NJ Manufacturing Extension Program, and currently serves on the Board of half a dozen non-profit organizations. He was a 2006 inductee of the New Jersey High-Tech Hall of Fame, 2015 NJBIZ Healthcare Innovation Hero, 2016 Made In New Jersey Honor Roll, NJBIZ 2019 Icon Honors, NJBIZ Power 100 2018-20, NJBIZ Education Power 50 2019-20, NJBIZ Manufacturing Power 50 2019,-20 and ROI’s New Jersey 100 Top Influencers 2018-20 and Healthcare Influencer 2018-19
