About Me
Eugene Cho Snyder’s research meshes communication perspectives and media psychology traditions into the field of human-computer interaction (HCI). She aims to gain deeper knowledge of how humans interact with non-human entities, such as conversational agents, recommendation systems, and smart home environments. Specifically, she examines how certain sensory interactions and information filtering systems can affect user perceptions toward AI-driven virtual agents. In classrooms, Eugene's pedagogical goal is to co-learn ways to enhance user experiences and promote more seamless and meaningful digital interactions in various product spaces with her students.
