Research Interests
My research is in Composition/Rhetoric: Writing Program Assessment, Labor-Relations in Higher Education, Rhetoric of Food Writing, Service-learning Connections to Writing, Bridging the Humanities-STEM Communities, and Women's/Gender Studies.
Since 1995, I have served as the Chair/Co-Chair of the Research Network Forum [RNF] of the Conference of College Composition and Communication [CCCC]. The RNF provides a platform for composition and rhetoric scholars to learn the latest research in the field and allow participants to share their current projects in small thematic roundtables. RNF meets annually during CCCC’s pre-convention workshops and draws 350+ participants. Through my work with Research Network Forum, I have mentored hundreds of students and junior faculty on their research and writing projects. https://researchnetworkforum.org
