About Me
Professor Haimovich obtained his Ph.D. degree from University of Pennsylvania in Systems in 1989. From 1983-1992 he served in various capacities in industry. He joined NJIT as Associate Professor in 1992, was tenured in 1997, and was elevated to the rank of full professor in 2001. From 2001-2003, he served as Director of the New Jersey Center for Wireless Telecommunications, a state funded consortium of the four major research universities in the state: NJIT, Princeton, Rutgers and Stevens. During 2008-2009, he was a visiting fellow at Princeton University. He is a Distinguished Professor, the Ying Wu endowed chair in the ECE department and a Fellow of the IEEE.
