Roberto Rojas-Cessa
Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering
About Me
Roberto Rojas-Cessa obtained a MS Degree in Electrical Engineering from CINVESTAV (Mx), and a MS degree in Computer Engineering and PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University (now Tandon School of Engineering NYU). He is active in research on networking, data analysis, and energy. He is interesting in not only developing new concepts but in bringing them out to reality. He has extensive publications on different specialized journals and proceedings in many International conferences. He authored the books “Advanced Internet Protocols, Services, and Applications," Wiley and Sons, 2012 and “Interconnections for Computer Communications and Packet Networks," CRC Press, 2017. His research has been funded by U.S. National Science Foundation and private companies.
He is a recipient of the New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame Innovator Award in 2013, and the NJIT NCE Excellent Teacher Award 2013. He serves in different capacities for IEEE conferences and journals.
